Stephen Colbert is possibly the most powerful man in the world
The other night, Colbert requested that his viewers modify the Elephant wikipedia article to reflect that the elephant population was suddenly increasing, as he wanted everyone to live in a more positive reality where elephants weren't becoming extinct. (see video)
And, sure enough, some viewers began editing the article... the Wikipedia entry is now locked :-) Take a look at the history or talk pages associated with that article, and you'll see the comments:
